DEVELOPING CERTAIN NETWORKING PLATFORM TO ENHANCE INFORMATION LITERACY

Networking platforms are widely used for networking and knowledge exchange purposes and as we now in the digital age, new digital terms, functions, and topics become on top of our priorities to know about as it has tangible impact on the communities promoting media and information literacy.

AUTHOR: Mohammad Asad

Mohammad Asad is the Information Communication Technology Officer. He Joined EMPHNET in March 2016, He is currently working within the ICT Unit of the Center of Excellence for Applied Epidemiology. He has a vast experience in developing new systems and applications, creating forms for online data collection tools, managing and developing websites, analyzing data, as well as the development of dashboards and mobile applications.

Throughout his career, he has provided ICT support for the implementation of several projects in Jordan, Iraq, Morocco, UAE, Yemen, and Sudan. He has built a strong network of professionals during regional conferences he had attended where he was part of the team. In addition to that, he has been selected from the first cohort as GAPMIL Youth Ambassador, he is working now to promote and share knowledge related to MIL with other youth online and offline enabling them to participate meaningfully in sustainable development in their societies.

Mohammad Asad holds a BSc in Computer Science which he had received from the Hashemite University. He has also participated in the “Best Business Plan award 2016 from TEJ Project” and he won the “Best Computer Software prize 2018” from Philadelphia University.
