Biography

Andrew Jack has been a journalist at the Financial Times since 1990, including as Paris correspondent, Moscow bureau chief and pharmaceuticals correspondent. He is currently global education editor, writing and overseeing the free FT schools access programme www.ft.com/schoolsarefree. He is author of the books Inside Putin’s Russia and The French Exception. He received an MA (Hons) from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, was the Joseph Hodges Choate Memorial Fellow at Harvard, and a Visiting Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford.
