For fifteen years, I told stories of people and places through the medium of television, as a Director and Producer with BBC TV Current Affairs. From the famous to the unknown, from the powerful to the underserved, from Panorama to BBC Four, I loved it – it was a pleasure, a privilege and it felt like it mattered.
Now, I offer people – young and not so young – tools to help them navigate and process stories they encounter in a busy, digital, constantly changing landscape. I run the BBC’s media literacy outreach focusing on disinformation in the digital space. We offer face to face outreach, online resources, original research, space for dialogue, collaborations and partnerships in both the UK and overseas. And this is an even greater pleasure, privilege and feels like it matters all the more.
