Biography

Dr Sameera Tahira Ahmed is an Assistant Professor in the Media and Creative Industries Department (Humanities and Social Sciences) at the UAEU. She obtained her doctorate from CMCR, Leicester University in 2003 and has since worked at universities in the UK and the Gulf (Oman and UAE). Her teaching focuses on media writing and journalism and her research areas include minority representation in the media and digital literacy.
