About Sibusiso Sibisi
I live in South Africa in Durban. I am a student at the University of South Africa, I am currently doing a degree in teaching. I am also a Marketing graduate, I am a co-founder of Esisimo Network Foundation NPC and a founder for Mobile Kiddies Book Club initiative for Esisimo Network Foundation NPC. Mobile Kiddies Book Club has been endorsed by Ethekwini Municipality Libraries, we are in partnership with InandaFM the community radio station, we have three ambassadors in the United Kingdom.
In 2019 we received 380 used and unused story books for children and young people as a donation from Child Friendly Leeds at Leeds City Council. Reading changed my life when I was about to give us in life, it took me one book I read to realized that life isn’t about feeling pity for yourself and being angry about the things that you can not control. I started Mobile Kiddies Book Club initiative with the hope to change lives for other children who are in the same situation as I was. Mobile Kiddies Book Club strives to provide access to information to alleviate poverty and change the mentality that as a black child you are being disadvantaged.
